Buying a Firearm from Liberty Guns

You must have a valid state issued picture ID.

You must be able to pass a Federal NICS Background check.

For a Handgun you must be 21 years of age and a resident of the State of South Carolina.  If you are a resident of a different state, the handgun will have to be transferred to a Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer in your state of residence and that Dealer will perform the Federal NICS Background check.  AR Pistols and AK Pistols are considered Handguns.

For a Long Gun (Rifle or Shotgun) you must be 18 years of age.

In addition, there may be limitations on the type of long guns and or magazines allowed in your state of residence that we will have to honor.

If you purchase a firearm that the FFL dealer is not able to transfer to you because you may not legally possess it pursuant to your state’s law, you do not have the required license/permit, your answers to the 4473 form indicate that the FFL dealer cannot legally transfer the firearm to you, and/or you fail the background check, you are responsible for return shipping and restocking fees, in addition to any charges from the FFL dealer to whom the firearm was shipped to be transferred.

In the case of failed background checks and incorrect ordering original shipping charges are NOT refunded. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. In addition, these orders will be subject to a Liberty Guns & Equipment restocking fee.
